On 09.03.2022, we were able to welcome a delegation from our long-standing partner school, the Business Academy Prague, to the State Vocational School Lichtenfels. The headmistress of the school Ing. Mária Václavíková and project manager Jan Bobek were warmly welcomed by the school's headmaster Dr. Joachim Selzam and those responsible for student exchanges and Erasmus+ projects.
In addition to a tour of the school building and a presentation of our educational professions and structural changes, they focused on discussing other joint projects. The Business Academy Prague is constantly expanding its profile and increasingly offers English language education with internationally recognised qualifications.
Our pupils can continue to take advantage of class trips to Prague, attractive foreign internships and in the future also long-term stays in the Czech capital.
Plans also included teacher mobility to increase cooperation in teacher education through shadowing and exchanges at school leadership level. They will also focus on school development, particularly with regard to digitalisation, and on the joint further development of the internationalisation strategy.

The Staatliche Berufsschule Lichtenfels is both a sending and a receiving institution.
- For more than 20 years, we have maintained partnerships with secondary vocational schools in Moravská Ostrava and with the Business Academy in Prague.
- Teachers and school leaders regularly attend further education courses in other European countries.
- We offer shadowing with a cultural program for teachers from abroad.
- Every year we offer our trainees attractive language courses and internships abroad, including in Prague and Ostrava, Dublin and Malta, for almost all educational professions.
