For the school year 2023/24 we expect to open 2 classes (50 pupils) in the following structure:

1 class Czech programme - 4-year course with the Czech baccalaureate and the possibility of the international English baccalaureate (25 pupils)

1 class English programme - 4-year course with the English International Baccalaureate (possible after the 3rd year) and the option of the Czech Baccalaureate in the 4th year (25 pupils) - WITHOUT ENTRY EXAMINATIONS

Admission conditions

  • submitting applications by 1 March and later until capacity is reached

  • evidence of previous English language study by report card or interview

  • admission interview in English to check motivation to study

  • English programme can be the 3rd choice on the application form

  • security of participation and the possibility to choose a destination for a month-long internship abroad in the 2nd or 3rd year, paid for by EU funds, as long as the student does not break the rules of participation in the internship

  • International English language exam at selected levels
  • International IT skills exam, i.e. ECDL exam - 2 modules per year
  • Ticket to the prom
  • electives beyond 32 hours per week
  • extra individual consultation

Repayment terms:

annual: as of 12. 5.

semi-annual: 12. 5., 15. 1.

in instalments: 12.5., 15.9., 15.10., 15.11., 15.12., 15.1., 15.2., 15.3., 15.4., 15.5. 

Terms of payment:

Tuition fees are paid semi-annually to account number 2802337034/2010. When paying annually, the discount is 10%. When paying in instalments, interest is paid in addition to the basic tuition fee of approximately 10%. The above prices are after discounts and interest are already included. The variable symbol is the birth number, the message for the recipient is the student's name.

In case of non-compliance with the payment deadline, the school charges interest according to the legislation in force. The school has the right to expel a student for non-payment of tuition fees.

Admission conditions

  • applications for the first round of the admission procedure are always due by 1 March 

  • applications for the second round of admissions until capacity is reached

  • proof of previous studies (report card)

  • national entrance exams ČJ + MAT

  • interview in English

  • For the first round of admissions, applicants may apply to a maximum of two secondary schools or two courses within one secondary school. Each application form will also include details of the school and subject to which the second application is being submitted.

  • Applicants with special educational needs must submit a statement from the school counselling centre with their application. According to this statement, the conditions of the examination will be adapted to the applicant.

  • Persons who have received their previous education in a school outside the Czech Republic will be given a Czech language entrance examination during the admissions procedure on the basis of a written application submitted together with the application form.

  • The result of the single examination has a 60 % contribution to the applicant's overall grade in the admissions procedure. The remaining part of the assessment will consist of the applicant's marks from the last two report cards in which the applicant has completed or is completing compulsory schooling (10%) and the interview (30%).

Become a high school student for a day

Come and see how the lessons are taught.

For the 2023/2024 school year, we have prepared "Become a High School Student for a Day" on Thursday 7 December 2023 and Thursday 8 February 2024. Thanks to the event, you will see and experience for yourself what a normal school day looks like for a high school student at our school. For the 2024/2025 school year we are preparing the dates.

Financial Aid

For those who apply for a scholarship, it is the scholarship that can cover most of the tuition fees. Students receive it according to the current scholarship regulations. Students who expect to receive the scholarship may apply to defer payment of tuition fees until after the end-of-year grading period.
